Woah I just spent more than half an hour
trying to dig out a veryvery dear friend's blog!
It just refuses to pop out as a search result
and I only found it after looking at her friend's journal xP
I wish Google will invent this mind-reading device for their search engine
so that they know exactly what we're looking for :P
But yayyy still glad that I found it!

Then I thought of my own blog
and realised really how open this blog is
because it's at the top of the search results once you google my name x__x

Block Test 1 is overrr!!! ^^
Even though I think I mugged really hard during the March holidays
looking at my classmates and what they've done
I think I haven't reached their hardcore 境界 yet
Like... I still went to play Candy Crush :X
I haven't reached the stage whereby I can sit down and study the whole day
and still manage to absorb information into my brain
And I always put strong emphasis on our mental health!
So I need to find time to rest and relax :)
Tsk I'm like justifying my occasional slackness Dx
Anyway thanks Kaixuan and F4 for mugging with me in the libraries
and pulling me away from my computer and Candy Crush
which are very very powerful distractions .___.ll

Aiyooo Block Test 1
I think my chem was quite terrible xO
Especially the ionic equilibria question
I kept having the mindset that it was the super challenging question
Mrs Teo went through with us before blocks
then I failed to register that it was actually a very easy IE question
and all the information I need to solve it were actually in the question itself
The power of mindset Dx It just blinded me
I pray that Mrs Teo won't pull my hair when she sees me
because I don't have much left -cries- T.T!!

A few days ago my popo was sweeping the floor
then she said
'我们家有人中cancer啊!' =/

Term 2 is going to be really busy with both CCAs and academics
The teachers are going to finish teaching the syllabus this term
so I foresee an influx of tutorials and maybe make-up lessons too :O
HuangCheng is going to be on full swing starting next week
and we'll be back to the days when we go home at 9+/10pm
I'll need to have the discipline to revise my work and complete my tutorials
no matter how tired I may be
Even though it's tiring
I hope I'll be able to find back that same drive and motivation
to work hard for HuangCheng
I hope that it will still be something that I'll look forward to
that feeling of 虽然辛苦，但是很开心、很值得
I hope all these will come back when we give in our very best
starting from next week :)

Anddd I pray that HuangCheng won't ever clash with Commserve!
Or else I need to 逃亡、逃命 already xP

This year my birthday fell on a Sunday! :D
Really blessed because it's been my wish since I was 12
to get baptised on my 18th birthday
And God granted me my wish ;D!
Got baptised with the holy spirit
and in the process of building a stronger relationship with God :)
My mum will never allow me to go through water baptism
I think she might just give me a tight slap :X
Her reason was that if I become a Christian
and if my husband comes from a Buddhist family that 拜祖先
then I'll face problems and his family won't accept me
But I don't think I'll end up marrying a man who has
different believes from me =/

Started attending services weekly
and really learnt a lot from Pastor How :D
A few weeks ago he was preaching us on why people dislike Christians
and one of the reasons he gave was that
We tend to put ourselves on a higher level compared to others
and judge people a lot based on our own moral standards
He said that this is wrong because this is not what Christianity teaches us
People don't like to be judged
and we are sent here to witness, not to judge
Most importantly, Jesus is a friend of sinners!

He's going to continue preaching on this topic after our 1000 Souls campaign
and asked us to invite our non-Christian friends
to come and 'see us slap ourselves' hahaha! :DD

Services allow me to see my own mistakes
and inspire me to become a better child of God
Many a times I would feel that God is speaking to me through the Pastors
I remember when I first joined church last year
I cried during service every time
I would get reminded of how much God loves me
and wants to build an intimate relationship with me
God tried so many times to bring me closer to Him
but I refused to commit and treated Him like a first-aid kit
Pastor preached to us about the Lost Son, Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin
saying that God loves the lost
and the Heaven celebrates when a sinner repents
and asks for forgiveness

Initially I thought my family would strongly oppose to me going to church
but my popo and mummy allowed me to attend service weekly
Feel really thankful and loved :)

Talking about being loved! Had a great 18th thanks to my family and friends :D

Thank you 12S72 408-ers Weihui Baobao and Gennie for singing my first 18th birthday song! Even though your box in a box in a box..... ended up having nothing inside, (I admit that I was quite annoyed at first...) I really appreciate the thought yall put in behind it. I shall pretend that the boxes are filled with your love! xD THANK YOU FOR THE FOODDD and for the board with all your sweet messages! Really smiled from the start to the end reading your messages ^^ Thank you for pulling yourselves out of bed early in the morning on a Sunday to crash my house with a birthday cake and celebrate my birthday with me :) Thank you 老人院 for the scrapbook! Although I can see your limited artistic abilities from there (HAHAHAHA!), it really brings back many beautiful memories of the times we had together ;D Just want to say yall are super super sweet and I love yall super super much x3!

Thank you Agnes and Yilin for the mudpie treat at Island Creamery! :D:D I'm honestly touched that yall remembered the promise we made 4 years ago, that we would celebrate our 18th birthdays at Island Creamery eating mudpies ;D 5 years of friendship and going strong!

Thank you 12S72 for one of the loudest and most enthusiastic birthday songs I've heard from yall (I think it's cos I wasn't singing and it's largely because of Vanessa :P) 谢谢你们 ;D Thank you F4 for the epic birthday song sung at the Food Court LOL Yup God's blessing me now :):)
