MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS!

Happy belated birthday dearest Lord Jesus ^^

Spent a lovely Christmas Eve with 408 ;)
Started the day doing last minute shopping for secret santa
After buying a pencil case and a bar of chocolate
I was wondering what to buy with the remaining money I have
Initially I wanted to buy more bars of chocolates
but I decided not to because it's too unhealthy! :(
So I bought Christmas veggies instead :D:D!

A (bunch?) of broccoli and two big red tomatoes :)
I was standing in front of the weighing machine
and was trying to recall whether tomatoes are fruits or veggies :X
I tapped veggies in the end and there was tomatoes!
But I googled just now and tomatoes are actually fruits
Scientifically :P

I knew the present was going to be boomz
but I didn't expect it to be so boomz
nobody wanted to receive my present!! Dx
For the secret santa thingo my present's number was 18
then throughout the whole lucky draw thingy
408-ers were shouting "18! 18!"

Many people 侥幸逃过一劫 until towards the end
Limin received my present! ^^ YAYYY GONGGONG x3
It's super convenient for her because we were at her house
so she could just directly put the veggies in her fridge heehee
And being a very sweet person she thanked me
for my very weird present ;D Stay healthy babe!!!

It was a very cosy afternoon spent with 408-ers
Eating potato chips and biscuits like we had never eaten for days
and playing Werewolf!
Funny things happened like
Puilin the protector kept protecting herself
Shu kept accusing Limin of being the werewolf and
got killed during the village elections instead HAHAHA!!!
Gennie the poor fortune teller
didn't manage to find out who the werewolves were
but when she finally did she was killed xP!
Chiaying cupid-ed Samantha and me
so Samantha the mayor was forced to side with Jermia the werewolf :X

The rest of the afternoon was spent stalking (applies to Weihui only)
Playing cards and monodeal
Watching TV and fangirling (applies to Brenda only)
Complaining about our common enemy -coughs-
Singing songs and Christmas carols beautifully
until Weihui and I joined in
and camwhoring! (Haoqing and Minghui)
LOL there are things that will never change ;D!
LOVE YALL 4-8VER ^^

Shall post some stuffs about our trip to Hainan!
Actually we didn't really do anything
other than help our popo carry her
numerous heavy bags filled with packets of coffee powder
and stuffs to give to her relatives
as well as to feed the mosquitoes over there T.T
But it was nice going back and meeting familiar faces
because we have been following along ever since we were little kids :)

Opposite our house is a family selling noodles for breakfast
the couple are daddy's good friends
I think they like us a lot hahaha! They kept giving us extra food ^^

And our house is just beside the market
so a lot of 阿姨s selling vegetables can still recognise us :D
Then whenever they saw us they would exclaim in Hainanese
"他们都长这么大了啊!"

I think it's quite obvious to people over there that
we are 外地人
Cos wherever we walk to we would invite stares O.O
I remember there was this time the 4 of us
(we went with our cousin) went for supper at night
When we finished eating and wanted to pay
we were raising our hands and doing funny things
to catch the attention of the lady but failed terribly
Then in the end we decided to 学 the 当地人讲
"MAI AH!" which means 'auntie' in Hainanese
and we succeeded finally HAHAHA! XD
The lady looked very amazed and amused
and all of us started laughing ;D

The previous times we went back
there was this 哥哥 who is our popo's godbrother's son
staying in our house because it's nearer to his school
We were younger then so like most kids
we disturbed him a lot :P
That time my cousin liked him (she was only P1 then)
and being a very very evil cousin
I made her do many funny stuffs :P HAHAHA!

Got one time I dug out an 爱的毛巾
which is a towel with the word 爱 on it
and made her sit on the window between his room and the corridor
waving the towel saying
“师安 (his name) 我爱你！你是我的相公！"
while the three of us were watching from the kitchen
laughing til we cried ;D!
I was laughing so hard I fell down from my chair HAHAHA!

He was a nice brother to have and a really close friend :)
Life was really fun with him around
He wasn't here anymore this time round
because he graduated already
and is pursuing higher education elsewhere :(
Hopefully we will be able to meet again the next time we all go back! :D

Going to Hainan then of course must eat their
Hainanese Chicken Rice right!
Just like how Singapore Noodles cannot be found in Singapore
Hainanese Chicken Rice in Singapore is nothing like
that found in Hainan itself :P
Singapore's version of the chicken rice is 鸡越软越好
but theirs is 鸡越硬越好 :O
The meat is so tough it's really hard to bite
because they let their chickens walk around
instead of being kept in cages
That was then I realised my teeth aren't strong enough
to withstand the toughness of their chickens
so I will just stick to Singapore's chicken rice! :)

There was this day Amelia and I were very excited
to visit a relative's house
because there's this 二哥 who's a 帅哥! :DD
The last time we went back the 二哥 came to visit us
Amelia and I were hiding in our 哥哥's room
watching him from afar and and fangirling over him 8D
The 哥哥 was asking us “你们在看什么啊！”
Awkward because they were from the same school =/

When we reached their house he was the first person we saw
but we didn't recognise him because
three and a half years had passed and things have changed :X
Amelia and I found him oddly familiar
and thought that he must be some relative we met last time -.-ll

Without knowing he's the 二哥
the two of us did funny stuffs like nudging and asking each other
“二哥几时来！” I think he totally saw and heard everything xO
And I even pointed into his room exclaiming
"this is the 帅哥的房间!" -bangs head onto the wall-

Realisation came when 大哥 brought us with 大嫂 to the beach to play
Amelia asked him where's the 二哥
then he said “就是刚才你们见到的那个啊！”
The moment was 惊天动地
Words can't describe how the both of us felt back then xO!

大哥 is going to marry next year in March!
We saw this big heart shape drawn at the beach
with the words "我爱(somebody's name)" inside
We asked him “这个是不是大嫂写给你的!"
Then he said “如果是写给我的就好了"
We were like awwww
until he said ”这样我就可以有两个老婆了“
and we were stunned :O
LOL! We know he's just joking ;)

The trip back to Hainan was nice! :)
Loved their night sky the most
It's super beautiful when it's pitch dark
and you can see many many stars
that will just make you gasp in awe 8D

But home is still the best ^^
When I was there I really missed the food here a looot
