The first day of school started
with me paedo-ing over this small little Nanyang boyboy! 8D
HE'S SO CUTE :D:D I'M GOING TO STALK HIM EVERYDAY
I think he's only P1
because his grandmother was accompanying him on the bus
looking very paranoid
and kept asking him to try calling her using his noob handphone hahaha! xD
Noob like mine :X
I only got my first handphone when I was in Sec 1 leh =/

Saw a few Nanyang and HwaChong juniors too!
It's easy to know who the Sec Ones are
because they have this young and innocent and blur look .__.
Looking at them reminded me of how fast time has passed
5 years have already passed since I first joined the Nanyang-HwaChong family
and this is my last year already D;
Hahaha I can still remember my first few days in Nanyang
being very shy and lost and afraid of losing my way in school
because Nanyang is so much bigger compared to KuoChuan xD

Actually 72
we should take a class photo this week
and take another one at the end of the year after our A's
to see how many wrinkles we gained
and how much we have aged during the year :P

Talking about Sec Ones
Combined morning assembly was super troll LOL! ;D
The young ones were supposed to march in from the field
to their positions at the terraces
And while doing so
some egoistical boys were waving their hands at their seniors
like they were some dua pais LOL! xD
Mr Chan who was standing beside our class told us
"at the end of the year it would be your turn
to march out onto the field" HAHAHA hmmm =/

Talking about Mr Chan
He's a super nice teacher and senior! :D:D
Cos he's no longer teaching us bio this year
then he bought all of us farewell gifts leh! :OO
Somemore he didn't just buy a one-size-fit-all present for all of us
he bought different presents for each of us awww ;D
And he even took the effort to wrap the presents properly
and wrote short little messages for all of us :)

So I opened up my present during break
and found out that I got what I only identified later during the day as a tote bag
At first I thought it was a shopping/recycling bag! xO
And I was in a state of shock and horror like
OMG even Mr Chan knows I'm an auntie??!
Shumin Xikai and others were totally laughing joyfully at me
Then my mouth widened even more
when Limin also got a bag but hers has the word 'Style' on it
THAT MEANS I GOT NO STYLE!!! T.T

But nevermind
no style is my style :)

I shall bring the bag
when I go madly shopping during discounts and promotions ^^
(if I actually do have the money to do so some day .__.ll)
Oh ya and Mr Chan said
we're one of the best S72s he has taught so far ;D
He's one of my best bio teachers too! (Y)
Really knowledgeable and dedicated and hardworking
Ms Chee is still my best HAHAHAHA :X!

Yup our class has new bio and chem teachers!
Both are nice and funny
we can look forward to fun-filled lessons xD!

Participated in the HC Open House on Friday as a tour guide! 8D
Paired up with Kaixuan and the both of us were
walking and talking to people for about 4 hours in total x__x
It felt nice to be able to share our opinions and experiences in HC
as well as to show them the culture that we have here
to people who might potentially become our juniors :)

it really made me reflect on my HwaChong experience
and what makes me like this school

I think what makes a good school is its people
Staff, teachers, and students etc
Compared to world-class facilities and whatnot
it's essentially its people that creates a cohesive environment
in which we can all learn and grow in
and feel that we can belong :)
I like it that HwaChongians are friendly and fun-loving
yet studious and 自强不息
and that every morning as I step into the left wing
I'm surrounding by smiles and laughter
along with mugging students hahaha! xD But yeah~ :)
