Shall begin this blog post to ask all of you
to not worry about me! :D
Thank you for your care and concern hahaha
but I think things are not as bad as some of you might think :P
My dad is not having an illness or something
He fell down from the top of a ladder
dislocated his arm and for unknown reasons
is unable to stand up and walk on his own
Being someone who likes to think too much
I was worried that 他伤到他的神经 or something
and might be unable to walk for life
so I ended up crying in my room hahaha
Silly me my dad's fine :)
After this I learnt that
more than anything else
what's most important is that our family is healthy and happy
那就足够了 ^^
Kay shall start recapping our London trip!
I wouldn't say it's the best BSP trip I've had
but it's one that we were given the most freedom
and responsibilities I guess?
Unlike the past 2 China trips
we were no longer pampered and chauffeured around
which is good in a way cos we really had the chance to
learn to navigate around
explore the city and live like Londoners! :D
We had to decide for ourselves things like
what we should do during our free times
and what we were going to eat together as a group
As I've learnt from organising 408 class outings
it's really hard to agree on something as a group x__x
We had disagreements and through all these
we learnt to compromise and spare a thought for one another's feelings :)
Home stay was great! ^^
Even though I had some trouble flushing their toilet
and that was quite embarrassing omg x___x!
My buddy's mum cooked many yummy English food
during my stay at their house!
Like stuffings and crumpets (is this how you spell it?)
and puddings that are not the jelly kind we have in Singapore
They are like cakes with sweet... sauce? :X
And many many more!
Had my first croissant at their house too
and fell in love with it ever since ^^
I hope I didn't leave with them the impression that
I'm a glutton omg which is true xO
They brought me to Greenwich
where we saw the cool Greenwich Meridian! 8D
We also visited an antiques auction
and saw cool stuffs like those ancient radios and TVs
and a magazine from the 19th century! :DD
Coincidentally there was some TV station filming
some roadshow programme there
so Jermia might appear on English television leh! ^^
Stephanie brought me to a play she had been participating in
called "Jerusalem" by a community theatre
which I think is really cool! :D
I couldn't decipher their English accent
so I could only try to understand as much as I could
from their facial expressions and body language .__.
The play involved the actors smoking on stage
so there was this time when the whole theatre smelled of smoke
and while everyone in the theatre was being engrossed
in watching the play
I was the only one struggling to breathe and keep alive
by covering half of my face with my scarf .__.
The celebration party after the play ended was...
madness o.o
Nearly everyone young and old and underaged was drinking
And while everyone was hugging each other passionately
I was like an awkward turtle standing by the side
watching them and thinking "wow 他们果然很开放!"
Then the epic moment came when
this guy saw me from about a metre away
then he opened his arms wide in an I'm-gonna-hug-you manner
and said "HI THERE!!"
I was shocked and gave him the eyes big mouth big look
then he stopped and shook my hands instead :P!

Thanks for being really welcoming and friendly ^^
But actually England 说开放也不是很开放
I learnt from Stephanie that
students are not allowed to add teachers on Facebook by law O.O
For child protection
So the English can be conservative in their own ways ba
After we came back from our home stay
we visited Ramboll which is an engineering company in London
We were given a task which was to
create the tallest building using spaghetti and marshmallows!
Our group is secretly talented in engineering and architecture!! xD
We figured out how to make our building stable by ourselves leh
Then at the end we had some time left
so we held a celebratory party eating the marshmallows we had left
HAHAHAHA ;D!
Our crapping skills are awesome too (Y)
Our building was an orphanage which we named the Ramboll-Tan
We explained to our judges that our building
is made up of marshmallows of different colours
signifying that we embrace orphans regardless of differences
We were going to create a rooftop garden
to educate orphans the importance of being green
and our building is 100% powered by windmills!
Actually our building fell so the roof came off
then Mingkit said that's because our building is still under construction LOL!!
And with the packet of spaghetti we had left
we just laid it beside our Ramboll-Tan and said that
it's a slide which the orphans can play with
and that we encourage "holistic education" HAHAHA!
But none of us can compare to Shi Tian the epic king xD
His group's building totally collapsed and fell apart
ST: "Our building was very stable
but unfortunately it got destroyed in a recent earthquake
All great things must come to an end"
OMG we totally laughed like mad!! XD
Skills we learnt from PW (Y)
Talking about Shi Tian
when our plane just touched down on London
I overheard a super funny conversation between him and Xinling
XinLing: You better watch out when we reach London
ShiTian: You don't escort me
XinLing: It's not escort. It's extort
Omytian this is too hilarious xD!
We visited Harrods which was totally a heaven
for gluttons like me and Shumin!
Our eyes totally sparkled when we saw all those chocolates
and the food there looked so yummyyy
but the prices weren't pretty at all xO
After that we went for tea at Georgian Restaurant
which was quite atas o.o
A whole group of us looked super out of place there
Shitian totally knocked his chair over
and when the waiter was at our table serving us our tea
I told him "It's okay. We can pour it ourselves :)"
And he totally looked like he was going to laugh omg :O!
After that the waiter really didn't come around our table liao x__x
until we called him for more tea which was super duper paiseh omytian
Jermia: Sorry can we have more tea? (x2)
Waiter: Sorry? (x2)
Jermia: Can we have more tea?
-Waiter finally understood-
When he came back and poured tea for us
Liyang and Chiaying totally burst out laughing omg! x__xll
Before he left he told me
"Please call me again if you want more tea"
and gave that I'm-going-to-laugh-again look omggg
London was fun the people are nice :)
Did quite a lot of shopping but still had enough to eat! ^^
I think many of us girls became fans of Primark HAHAHA
especially Siqi!
Remember got one time Siqi was complaining that
she has nothing to write for reflections
then some guy said
"Then you don't write reflections la
Draw the floor plans of all the Primarks you went to!" xD!
Really
Whenever we visited a place we would go to the Primark there
The stuffs sold there are cheap and nice! 8D
And trips are always fun with sanbas around :)
Remember that night after our cultural performance at Newstead
(Great job cultural I/Cs Limin and Xinling for coordinating the performance!
I think the sixth form really enjoyed it a lot ;D)
we just formed a circle and sang songs together like gilas

Ended our trip with a flight back to Singapore on the A380!
Alvin had 2 empty seats beside him
so he took up the hand rest thing and slept like a boss (Y)
I had an empty seat beside me and quoting the guys
it was "爽爆了!"
Okay it's time to get back to reality
and start finishing off my pile of undone work xO
Yesterday night I was praying to God
thanking him for blessing us with a safe trip in London
and asking him for my Dad's speedy recovery
After I finished my prayer
I heard a voice in my head which told me something like this:
"Jermia! After you wake up, pour your father a glass of water and he shall recover soon"
Then I asked the voice a lame but valid question
"Is it hot water or cold water?"
Then the voice told me
"Anything will do"
Moments later I heard noises coming from outside
Daddy and Mummy were both awake
The three of us were chatting then I remembered the voice
and poured my dad a glass of water
After drinking it my dad asked me
"你怎么知道pa要喝水?"
Mummy said it's cos 父女连心
I just smiled to myself thinking
I didn't know anything
God told me :)
