YAY I AM BACK FROM OBS! ^^
I am proud to say that I didn't shed a tear during OBS :D
it's so delightful to see civilisation again
the first thing I did after I got off the bus was
to buy bubble tea from the shop near my house! :)

I really gained alot from these 5 days in Pulau Ubin ;D
other from the fact that
my feet are itching and I have rashes on my hand...
I really had the chance to experience that feeling of pushing yourself to your limits :D

We kayaked on the third day of camp
my partner was Kaixuan!
it was smooth-sailing at first cos the weather was so fine XD
it was drizzling and there were cooling winds blowing
SO SHUANG LA!!! ^^
Hallelujah! God blessed us with such a good weather :)

but as we reached the turning point which is a channel
the waves got bigger and bigger
and it became really hard for us to kayak properly :(
the seawater kept splashing onto us
and some even had their kayaks half-filled with seawater D:
then we were forced to go onto land

it was really depressing and frustrating xO
looking at the big and strong waves
I was wondering and doubting if we can ever make it to our destination xO
even though we were all tired
but we had to set off again
this time my partner was Jiaxing :)

again
it was difficult to control the kayak
it seemed that however hard we paddled
it just wouldn't go towards the direction we wanted it to head to xP
Jiaxing and I were feeling so helpless T.T
so we kept blowing the whistle :X
but thanks to the instructors who taught us various ways of paddling
and using all our might and energy
we finally were able to kayak properly!!! :DDD

then 308 got together for a short break again
as we held onto each others' boats
I felt that our class has really become more bonded :D
we 加油-ed each other along the way
and even though all of us were scattered around along the channel
we knew that we are all in this together =D

then we paddled together
close-knittedly as a class to our destination while cheering each other on

ahhh thanks alot to those who cheered me on!
YOU GAVE ME THE STRENGTH TO CARRY ON!
when we finally reached the campsite
woah
that sense of victory and satisfaction was SHIOK XDD

sometimes I think Zhiwei can read our minds or something
cos I was whining about the campsite being dirty and freaky x_x
then he shared with us this poem about being contented
then I realised how lucky we are to be alive and healthy
how fortunate we are to be able to have this
once in a lifetime experience :DD

ohoh I have to apologise to Kaixuan again for putting up with my malu-ness and slow-ness xP
sorry~!
I know my reaction is getting slower and slower
I'm like that when I'm tired =(

then we went trekking!
my father used to boast to me about him
carrying a 10kg bag trekking for dunno how long in NS
then I would gaze at him with wonderment and awe O___O
now I can proudly tell him that
his daughter carried a 10kg+++ bag and trekked for 6 hours! x__x

wow nearly wanted to give up
cos the bag was so heavy and the road was quite bumpy :(
thank you Shumin and Kaixuan for distracting me
by gossiping about -ahems-! xDD
Everybody was tired
but we cheered each other on again!
SO EFFECTIVE LA CHEERING ^^

I LOVE 308!

then we did celebration cooking
all of us cooked food for the whole class! :DD
suddenly everybody looked so housewifey and cookey
I think our omelet and luncheon meat rawks la x)
had a pretty good time eating
thank you Gahyarn and your grp members for the fried rice!!! x3

OBS is like...
you really want to go home in the process
it's challenging and mentally+physically tiring :O
but at the end of the day when we all go home
you will look back and realise
wow I actually did this and did that! XD
and you will realise that you have become a stronger person

AHAHAHAHA (Zhiwei's version of laughing)
I think our instructors are lame
like DIAOOOOOO lor :P!
they kept cheating our feelings okay
esp. the stories about the Pulau Ubin crocodiles and another one about a Malay woman =.=ll
but some of the stories are really inspirational
and nice and thought-provoking...
LIKE DUHHHHH xD!

in the road ahead
we will definitely face more challenges and difficulties
but as long as we tackle them tgt as a class
I'm sure we will be able to overcome them! ^^
